Hi, I'm Victoria! Welcome to where my passion for geology meets my burning curiosity for art (a new path for me as an Earth Scientist).
My love for rocks and minerals is borderline obsessive. For the last ten years of my life, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel around the country and world to study geology and hydrogeology, visiting some of the most diverse landscapes.
More recently, I worked locally remediating contaminated groundwater and soil across Long Island and the five boroughs. Now, when I’m not teaching about rocks and minerals, I spend my time pressing flowers, painting canvases, and creating unique handmade pieces of art! ♥
Epoxy resin is a two-part liquid polymer. When mixed and treated properly, it dries to a solid, glass-like material—translucent, sturdy, and perfect for use in your home or for decoration. Anything dry can be cast into a resin item! Items like beads, pendants, and ribbons that hold no moisture can be easily incorporated into the casting process.
Florals, however, must be prepared through an intricate drying process that either involves a desiccant like silica sand or natural drying in a flower press. This process is determined by the items in each individual order.
What started as a project to create a piece of art for my own wall in my home that reflected my love for geology and crystals, quickly grew into a business. Ever since, I've been producing crystal-studded cheeseboards, geode adornments, and ultimately evolved to bouquet preservations as I grew more curious about resin casting.
I’m excited to share my love of science and art with anyone looking to create something unique.
